I had an interesting experience at this local vape shop. It was my first time here as I just moved to the area. When I entered the store I made my way to the back counter where they keep their e juice. The associate was on the phone with his girlfriend so I just picked up the menu to see their selections. After about a minute he gets off the phone and apologizes and introduces himself as Rodger. That's cool, he seems nice. I tell him I'm interested in a couple juices I saw in the menu. Then he tells me "Dude, I wouldn't bother with the menu. We don't have any of those juices and we don't update our menu because our juices change so frequently." Ooookay, so why have a menu laying on the counter? I tell him that I'm looking for any kind of fruit flavors, preferably ones with a cream or custard note. He seems to think pretty hard about my inquiry and continues to shuffle around some juice bottles on the counter. Then he tells me that he was in the middle of organizing the juices. They were all random bottles in little square baskets, looked like their 'sale' section. When he finished that little project up he said "ok so you want a custard? Here's our best selling custard." I told him again that I'd like a fruit flavor that maybe has a custard note in it but it's not necessary. He again had to think about it. Then he lets me try Orange Dream by Liquid State. It's good! I told him I'd take a bottle of that and a bottle of Cali Colada in 6mg. Then he tells me to meet him at the front counter. He goes into the back room and comes back about 30 seconds later to ring me up. He hands me Cali Colada and an unsealed bottle of Orange Dream. He said he didn't have Orange Dream in 6mg so he put nicotine in it with the dispenser in the back and wrote a 6 on the bottle with a permanent pen. I told him I wasn't too keen on buying an unsealed bottle. He got nervous and assured me that he put organic nicotine in it with his dispenser. Whatever, thank you. Done. The juice seems like it has nicotine but it's definitely week.
I wouldn't have much issue with this as I've been to many shops that do this. It's the way Rodger handled himself as a salesman that irked me. Next time you do something like this, you're going to want to inform the customer before and give them the option to choose another juice if they prefer. You should also be adding the nicotine in front of the customer. The level of professionalism and confidence of the salesman is what makes this a 3 star review.
