  • Dark, hip decor. Delicious cocktails. I am in love with the rooftop patio. Summer nights, cold drinks, dance-y music. Can downtown get any better than this? I have such fond memories here, both dancing with my husband AND winning the swinging hook game (Twice!!). I'm not here often enough to notice permanent changes, but after a couple hours in The Laundry Room, we wanted to go upstairs to dance off the cocktails before driving home. I was told by the bouncer we needed wristbands from the bartender, who then informed me it would be $20 (or was it $40?) and included two drinks. Just as we were about to leave, I thought I'd plead my case with the other bouncer. I told him I had just come from TLR, couldn't possibly drink anymore, and just wanted to show my visiting friend the rooftop. He obliged and we were thankful. -- If this is to be a regular thing, I would suggest Commonwealth and TLR offer some sort of deal.
