I went in to see them September 1st 2016 to try to trade in my Ford Fusion and cash in on the Labor Day sale
After doing the credit app and test driving a Chevy Malibu my salesperson and came back out and for sending me the offer letter
For starters they devalued my car which after going to several other dealerships was appraised at much higher than what they're willing to give me
The worst part was the cash back which was an advertised sale by Chevrolet
Chevrolet was giving 16% cashback MSRP on Chevy Cruze and Chevy Malibu
I look at the offer letter and noticed that the cash back was only $1,000 and I brought that to my salesman's attention and he got up displaying an attitude and later came back with a second offer letter and the cash back jumped to $3,000
They continue to tell me that even though I had a second car to trade in that was free and clear which they only offered me $2,000 and the cash back I needed to still come up with money down
Which is funny because after going to other dealerships and the Labor Day sales that they offered me. I really didn't need to have any cash down to get this deal done
AutoNation is the most dishonest and on reputable company I have ever had to deal with and I will never go to them again
