The reviews don't lie. Unfortunately I didn't yelp fast enough before my family walked in and got seated. Service is awful and I know that's expected but it was even worse than I imagined. These ladies walk up to your table expressionless and speechless as if you can see through the damn tin dishes to order from their cart. A staring contest ensues until you ask... So what do you have? After a while, the ladies started flashing some smiles and we noticed it was because they were looking at our infant son. So if you want slightly friendlier service, bring a baby with you.
Food was "passable" as my hubby put it. He liked the chive and pork dumplings and not much else. I was taught to leave with at least one positive thought, so hmm... Egg tarts came out hot and fresh as we were about to leave, so that made up for the experience a teeny tiny bit. Also, the person who brought us our check who may or may not have been the owner, was super duper friendly and sweet. She said "please join us again soon!" She gave us some coupon and commented on how cute the kids were. Okay, I shall give you TWO stars.
