  • Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! I'm a NYC Italian and I was really missing real authentic Italian food. I really thought I could not find any authentic Italian anything anywhere in Arizona and I was really disappointed. Then I heard about this lovely place. They make REAL meatballs and REAL sauce. Buy the jarred sauce and buy the meatballs. You won't be disappointed. The sauce tastes like my grandma's sauce, and that's saying a lot. The cannolis are also excellent. They use the REAL ricotta cheese that you can only find back east - Polly-O brand Ricotta Cheese. I asked the owner about it and she said they have the cheese special-ordered and shipped out so they can make the cannolis right. And I'm SO glad they do! This store has a lot of specialty Italian items that you can't find anywhere else, except maybe in Italy. You can also order from the deli area and they have a great selection of hot and cold items and some table and chairs where you can get a quick bite. The sandwiches are as close to NY style as I could find.
