  • I recently moved to Tempe, but I lived at Roosevelt point for two years. In 2015 I transferred to ASU and had about two weeks to find a place and move in. I am from California, and never had visited Arizona before so I relied solely on apartment websites. I reached out to Roosevelt Point and the next day I got an email and call from the friendliest employee. I truly appreciate Merissa for all her help, and making sure I felt safe in my new apartment. She definitely made the transition easier, and anytime I had a question she was quick to help. She is the most helpful employee working at the office, and always has a smile on her face. I am a Downtown ASU student so Roosevelt Point's location was awesome. It was about a 8 minute walk to campus and there were restaurants close by. I also enjoyed living right in the heart of First Fridays which was fun! As for the apartment itself, it was decent with a beautiful kitchen and I had a nice view from my balcony. It did face construction , but the sunsets were still very beautiful. I did have some issues with the power going out anytime it rained a little. Also, the internet and cable services weren't the best. However, I can't complain too much about that because all utilities were paid. They did have a cap on electricity at $40 for 1 bedroom apartment. The most I ever had to pay was about 80 dollars extra. I lived on the 5th floor so I never had any issues with bugs , but I also cleaned my apartment regularly. The maintenance team were my favorite! They were always so friendly and would say hello anytime we crossed paths. They were quick to fix any issues I had as well. We would always joke about football as well because my apartment was covered in 49er items, and one of the guys was a Cowboys fan. A few negatives were sometimes random people would park in my assigned spot, and some of the on call resident managers weren't helpful at all which got frustrating since assigned parking is an extra $70+ every month. Second, some residents would be out on their balcony late at night screaming and acting belligerent. I am a night owl so it didn't bother me too much, but sometimes it did get ridiculous. Third, a few of the office employees were rude, and incompetent. The main reason I moved was because they only offer a limited amount of six month leases, and apparently I was too late when I asked. Overall, I had a good experience living here.
