I love this place! From the outside you would have no idea what is in store inside. You think you're going into a sketchy warehouse when in fact, you open the doors to a distillery and bar inside. When sitting at the bar, you can see the barrels and rum being made right in front of you. It's a very open feel as the bar tenders are serving you but can just turn to walk back into the distillery area as well.
You can sit at the bar filled with stools, there are a few booths, or some higher tables toward the back. Anytime i've gone it's been pretty empty inside and never crowded. It's always been the same two people behind the bar and they know a ton about making drinks and we're open to conversation.
Side note, I don't even like rum... But this place changed my heart. My favorite drink now is their white Haitian. It's made with coffee liquor, white rum, and cream (I believe). Whatever it is, it's amazing. Also their drinks are not very expensive as most of them are $7 ... and a few $10.
Again, love this place and its relaxed vibe. The only downside is that you can only get cocktails on Fridays and Saturdays.. I wish they were open all week.
