  • Disclaimer: Was not an overnight guest, so this review is NOT for a room experience. Last night, we were invited to an event at the hotel to raise funds to help folks that are suffering in Puerto Rico. Team members at the hotel have family there, and they're doing their part to help. The hotel organized a "Texas Hold-em" poker tournament. I'd say there were 25-30 people participating. First of all - what a great location for an event like this! Plenty of room to mingle, move around the tables, and relax. Easy access to the kitchen area to enjoy the refreshments. The general manager made a point to move around the room, make folks welcome, bring refreshments to people, and joined right in the fun. I could tell he loves his work and the people who work for him. They in turn show that same feeling toward him! Wow - i bet that translates into a lot of great experiences for their guests! As a loyal Hilton member - it made me happy to be involved in this experience! We just live a few miles away in Cave Creek. I know where friends and family are going to be directed in the future if rooms are needed!
