  • When they say "resort" about this place, it should probably have the word "last" in front of it. Livable, but it's a very tired property... if it were on The Strip it would have been bulldozed years ago. Maintenance was so poor in our first room that they moved us to an upgraded mini-suite that had recently been upgraded and was much nicer, so I'll have to say they're doing the bet they can with what they've got. Room decor is very dated... it's like an explosion of over-the-top tacky '60s glitz, sparkle and shimmer. Elvis is everywhere... beginning with the statue in the lobby and continued with the large photos of him in all the rooms! I can imagine all of the young people saying "who the hell is that guy? Also a similar sized photo of Marilyn Monroe in all the rooms, which I'm sure beg the same question. Had to stay here because of the event I attended, but certainly wouldn't pick it on my own... too many great hotels in this city!
