| - ACLS training and certification through LBW Training Center was an A+ experience. The instructor, Dr. Meser (John E. Meser, DO) was engaging and informative. He repeated important information, which was very helpful, especially for first-time attendees. He ran his "codes" in a non-threatening manner and always explained details when the student was confused or had questions. He is extremely knowledgeable and teaches Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support according to the American Heart Association guidelines. I highly recommend medical skills training through the LBW Training Center, which is offered in numerous locations throughout Arizona. The location in Tempe offered a comfortable environment, free coffee, water, and Otis Spunkmeyer cookies (what a warm treat!). There are convenient locations for lunch which are in within walking distance and the training center offers a refrigerator, microwave, and kitchen utensils for your use. Dr. Meser has put together an informative slide show which displays nicely on the wall, incorporated with American Heart Association videos and breaks down each skill into small segments, which also was very helpful. Be sure to brush up on some content material and take the on-line pretest prior to attending class. This will help make you feel much more confident in your knowledge and abilities and aid in the flow of learning for all attendees. You must have a current provider manual (an AHA requirement), which can be obtained on your own, or conveniently at the training site (please call the location to ensure they are in stock). Thank you, LBW!
