| - Go to Ann's Nails right down the road from this place!!! I really don't get angry much, but I am never coming here again after this last time I was here.
I came in for a fill, they told me it was $18, perfect. I got a pedicure first and then I sat down for my fill. As she was prepping my nails for the acrylic she proceeded to say that since my nails were longer, the fill is going to be $20 instead of $18. I simply told her "No, I'm not paying that. You should have told me before you starting working on my nails." She then said she won't charge that for me, but usually it's more.
What I find funny is that the length of the WHOLE nail has NOTHING to do with the fill, the back fill was not grown to even an eighth of my whole nail. She asked what shape I wanted me nails and I said "just straightened out and the corners a little rounded" (the shape I originally had). She then said that is gonna be $5 extra to shape. I was laughing at this point! Again I told her I'm not paying that and asked why she didn't say any of this before she did my nails. She then told me it was fine, and then her and her co worker proceeded to speak in their own language, I am almost positive it was about me.
I've been to many places and I have had experiences to where they haggle price, but this just made me feel uncomfortable. The nerve of her to try to raise the price a SECOND time, blew my mind.
If you stick to your guns at nail places, they won't scam you, be firm and don't let them push you around. I don't give scammers tips, so she definitely didn't get one.
