  • This is a REITERATION of my review of October 2014 since I don't see it any more.... people need to READ THIS: What a nightmare my dental appointment was!! I was sorry my old dentist wouldn't accept my insurance change. Hated to leave my old, trusted EFFICIENT dentist. But you have to do what you have to do. I made a 9 am appointment for a checkup, x-rays, and cleaning. The point of the early appointment is so that if I was scheduled for work at 10:45, I could still work my job which affords me my insurance for my dental care. Right? I showed up at 8:45. Paperwork filled out expeditiously and done by 9 am, my appointment time. By 9:20 I was taken in. Apparently x-rays were first on the agenda. You'd have thought it was the first time x-rays were EVER taken in this place. Tons of fumbling around and looking for the stuff that was needed.... then apparently someone went on vacation and no one was there to cover. So then there was pleading and negotiating for jobs going on behind my back. SERIOUSLY?? Then they said, No you're getting your cleaning first, then NO you're getting your x-rays first. Well, FINALLY x-rays were taken and then I sat..... and sat...... and SAT!! Then they moved to another stupid alcove where thing carried on behind my back (your setup is HIDEOUS) and then I SAT and SAT and SAT!! Then the hygenist (I think) did the pocket depth test. Then she talked to me about that. Then she left. Then I SAT and I SAT and I SAT!! And finally the dentist came to see me. She discussed some issues and things that needed to be done. All minor. Nothing too startling. But I take good care of my teeth. Then she ASKED me if I wanted my teeth cleaned. Whul, yeah.... that's kind of why I'm here, YOU KNOW??? So she said they could fit me in because they're FLEXIBLE LIKE THAT. WHAT??? Then I SAT and I SAT and I SAT..... I'm gonna start fast forwarding here because it's unpleasant to relive my HIDEOUS experience at Gentle Dental. Hygenist comes and she's going to do a cleaning. She doesn't have her SHIT together and doesn't have her supplies and can't seem to find what she needs (DO YOU PEOPLE DO THIS ALL DAY LONG???) and then FINALLY she's done and says, "Well my assistant is going to come in and do your polishing." WHAT?? So then I WAIT and I WAIT and I WAIT and finally someone comes who doesn't have THEIR shit together and so it goes and goes and then she FINALLY leads me up to check out. I'm thinking I'm OUT of there finally but..... NO, the person at checkout is busy with someone and asks that they take me out to the WAITING ROOM to WAIT FOR HER!!! At this point I've been in your STUPID, HIDEOUS FACILITY for TWO HOURS AND FORTY FIVE MINUTES!! Let me say that again. TWO HOURS AND FORTY FIVE MINUTES!! I sit in the waiting room STEAMING and then finally walk to the front and ask Pam when they're going to check me out.... and she says she doesn't know if I'm next. WELL I LOST IT AND IF I'M NOT $)(*ui#@)(*$# NEXT YOU'D BETTER MAKE ME NEXT!! She went back and then came back and said, "Well I can process you." REALLY?? Are you people KIDDING ME?? You wasted my valuable time and acted like this was the first day you'd ever worked a job and it was INSULTING and RUDE and ...... I've NEVER been in such a disorganized DUMP as your business!!! The range of estimations on when I was to come back ranged from 4 weeks to 6 weeks to 6 months!!! WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE???? I will NEVER set foot in your business ever again and will post on Yelp and any other source about what TOTAL INCOMPETENTS you people are. It's a wonder you're still in business. I can hardly wait to see my old dentist who will take 45 minutes of my time, I'll see three amazingly organized people, and be done with the dentistry business for another six months.
