  • This zoo is a blast! Tip #1, but your tickets online if you can. Not only is there a discount, but there can be quite a line to buy tickets. If you skip that part you can practically walk right in. We skipped the concessions, dinosaur exhibit, and gift shop, so I can't speak to those. You'll see a lot of animals you'd expect to, and they like to sleep in the Arizona sun, but you should see some action as well! As big as the exhibits can be, there are usually just 1 or 2 animals per pen, which is a little surprising. The zoo itself is well laid out with large paths and lots of shade. I highly recommend a visit!
