| - This place was recommended by my friend. I ended up tagging along, as she came here to buy a cake.
When we first stepped in, there was a long line of people. It felt like rush hour or something in the shop, even though it was already 11am. Lots of people were buying bread, not so much cake. My friend and I ended up buying their cakes. I actually don't remember what I got. I remember one was pistacchio cream (or something), one was hazelnut, and the other was a chocolate mousse (maybe).
They were all really good, but I found the chocolate mousse one to be a bit too sweet for me, as well as the hazelnut. The pistacchio cream one was interesting, and wasn't too sweet. It kind of reminded me of a napoleon. Which I usually like.
I also got a chocolate croissant. The croissant was very fresh and crispy and flaky. The only thing was, the chocolate wasn't in the middle, and was only one one side of the croissant. So when I took a bite out of it, one would be filled with chocolate and the other bite would be just, regular.
Overall, I would go there again. I think I'd like to try their pastries and tarts. Those looked yummy. Probably won't be as sweet as their cakes!
