  • Since I've only been this one time, I'll err on the side of caution and stop at 4 stars. Not that this suggests I doubt the excellent service, it's just I'm testing the waters. One of my rings developed a clean break and I was not longer able to wear it. Some people jumped to the conclusion I was filing divorce proceedings; this isn't the case. Rather, I was weighing my options of where to get the repair. As it turns out, I was enjoying a walk downtown over lunch when I came across Michael's Jewelers and decided to give it a shot. Admittedly, I didn't check out any of the jewelry on display--I was in for a repair. About a week later, I was handed back my ring--looking like it did when I first bought it--and charged only $40 for fixing two cracks. Amazing! The proprietor was exceedingly polite and I'll be returning before the holidays to get something for Mom.
