  • OK... I'm not from NYC, but have visited there recently. I L*O*V*E this place. It has a flavor that I can't quite put my finger on, but it took me right back to the little pizza place in Brooklyn right by Pratt. The people who work there aren't overly friendly... but like another person wrote.. this isn't a high-class, gourmet, snooty pizza place. The kids behind the counter are consistently polite, and I have never had any problems ordering my food and getting it home hot and wonderful. I have never eaten in there... I usually order the pie, slip into Smiths for a bottle of wine and a few groceries.. and by the time I get my groceries my food is done. I have never tried the garlic knots... but we are getting a couple of pizzas for dinner tonight, so I think it's high-time I treat myself (my kids will probably eat most of them :-)
