So, here I sit back home watching Cake Boss on my DVR. I think I should tell how my adventure of trying to bring back bakery items from Las Vegas to Hawaii. I was afraid TSA wouldn't let our so delicious cannolis and lobster claws onto carry on because of the cream. I really wanted our friends and employees to taste these oh so special Italian desserts. In hindsight, maybe I should have asked the Palazzo to store it in the freezer overnight. We had an early flight in the morning. I also should have packaged the items separately. I put them in our suitcase and packed clothes around them and hoped for the best. When we finally arrived home, the box did suffer from being smashed. It also suffered some from the varying air moisture content. The creams were still good, but they did not look pretty. The saddest part was because of the moisture content, the cannolis were no longer crispy. The lobster claws were beat up, but they are good. I am still eating them. I wish I wasn't. I'd rather be loosing weight, but they taste good. I wish I could fix the cannolis. I haven't given up on this idea. I know I'll try again.
