  • Exit Hoover Dam and go right. The trail head is just under the freeway. First time here today! It was so much fun. I would rate this hike intermediate to advance. A little on the difficult side with all the climbing and ropes repelling. Some people brought their dogs but I wouldn't recommend it. Unless they're small and you can carry them. Such a perfect day for hiking. We had beautiful weather. The desert flowers were all in bloom. The hike is about 2 hours from start to the end of the trail which leads out to the Colorado River.
