| - So many great photo's ...but many of the amenities were not available to us. The Boulders is under renovation of the main restaurants and pool area, leaving only two small pools to enjoy with many other guests.
We booked our week stay in March for Aug. we arrived and it was obvious that some construction was going on, but we checked in nothing was said. We learned a few hours after check-in from the bartender of all the closures. Disappointing. Yes!!
We entered our room a two bedroom 1800 sqft feet fully equipped, and nicely decorated, and the plus, a private pool. But the door leading to the pool was broken and we could not access the patio. We called the front desk they said the owner knows about the broken lock...the owner; we leased the room through Hilton?
Another item they didn't tell us they room we rented for the week is individually owned, therefore repairs would not take place, but they said you have a door to the patio / pool through the main bedroom...yes two couples if one wants to go to sleep earlier the others didn't want to pass through. We felt like it was college all over again!!!
Such a large corporation, known for their customer service...it didn't happen this time. They should have given all of their guests a heads up in advance, sent e-mails to all that have made reservations to offer them the option to continue with their reservation or to assets us in booking into another hotel. We found many of the hotel office personnel at a lost on what to say to us and the other guests that were just as disappointed as we were. Very poor Customer Service. We asked to speak to a manager they never called us.
However, the golf course and the pro shop were excellent; they provided us with good service. And Megan the bartender was another good employee that really just listened to us, and tried her best to make our stay a little better.
I would not recommend this Hotel, Enjoy the golf but stay clear of the hotel.
