  • The Desert Botanical Garden was a very nice experience. A little expensive but worth seeing. The staff working there were friendly and very helpful. There is a lot to see and it is organized in a logical fashion which made for a nice relaxing experience. We had a coke at the cafe and it was very inviting. There were a lot interesting birds looking for handouts. After a while, things did start to all look the same but a visit during in spring may be more interesting to see the flowers in bloom. I do want to mention that they display a No Weapon sign at the entrance so if you are a CCW be aware of the rules. I think this is worth seeing but I would be hard pressed to spend for an annual pass.
