| - I love, love, LOVE the West Side Market! I visit them about twice a month when the weather is nice and about once a month during the colder months. You can find fresh local products for decent prices, haggle over price with the vendors (they get a certain gleam in their eyes when they realize they've got a great haggler to deal with!), sample many of the fruits and veggies prior to purchase, have lunch (seek out the gyros, trust me on this), visit the sky walk for a bird's eye view of the market, and shop at the all the other great shops nearby to the market. Not to mention that it is a Cleveland cultural landmark since the early 1900's!
Some of my favorite vendors are:
*Ohio City Pasta - their lemon pepper pasta and alfredo sauce are out of this world, especially paired together!
*Pierogi Palace
*Urban Herbs
*Theresa's Bakery
If you go, plan to spend a bit. I never get out of there without spending at least $50 but it's worth it, in my opinion. Visit the market - you'll fall in love!
