  • I'm grading on a curve here. Is it the Wynn? No. It's also a fraction of the price of the fancier places on the Strip. If you're a low roller, you can get a very basic motel room here very cheap. For not much more you can get an upgraded room. If you have the means, I'd recommend the upgrade, but if not, fear not, because the standard rooms are clean, the furniture is in good shape, and the shower is nice and hot. The customer service here is good. The front desk texted me after checking in to see how the room was. I did report some problems and they were fixed promptly. Everyone on staff I've encountered is friendly and seems to like working here. The parking garage is big and so far I haven't had to search long to find an open space. Plus it's free. (Remember when every hotel in this town didn't charge to park?) The surrounding neighborhood is a little seedy. This is a hotel you want to either have a car for or use Lyft. The Strat is a place to rest your head for not a lot of money, it has lots of places to eat and drink inside, and it lacks the pretense further south on the Strip. This hotel gets me.
