  • New to this school, transfer from MMSD. We toured the new building in November 2015. First impressions of the school and church staff is that they are kind and caring of the students and of each other. Teachers have lots of experience. A new principal and several new teachers have joined the school this year. Lots of up campus field trips are planned. An all-school musical/play is done at the end of each school year. Kids can start extra-curricular activities at 4th grade. Piano lessons are offered starting at age 4. Affordable before and after daycare is available before 8am and after 3pm. Both pastors seem courteous and respectful although we don't know them that well. The new school building is truly a warm and wonderful place with top notch classrooms, a beautiful gym and lunch area. A digital white board in the kindergarten room shows a move toward technology-assisted learning. Holy Cross PTO is working provide additional technology in all classrooms for the future. We are happy to be part of this church school this fall. Having worked and been active in a number of churches I can assure all that no church is perfect.
