This resort is a GREAT option for families vacationing in Vegas. There is a lot to do here if you have children and the rooms are very nice and well appointed. My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed in a Royal Tahitian Suite, which was more than enough space for us. The resort is also beautifully landscaped- You didn't feel like you were in the middle of the desert at all. The highlight for the kids was the gigantic pool and the lazy river. In my experience the staff were very nice, but sometimes missed the mark with execution. Twice, we needed assistance in our suite (once for maintenence when the washing machine wasn't working and once for housekeeping when my son wet the bed) and it took a very long time for staff to arrive. In fact, housekeeping took almost an entire day. I called twice and finally walked down to the front desk to explain my frustration. They came quickly after that but it was annoying that it took so long in the first place. Still, I understand that this was an accidental oversight and our stay was great otherwise. I was unimpressed by the onsite restaraunt but I find that's usually the case with hotel restaraunts, so no biggie. The resort has a small store and coffee shop in the lobby, which was nice. It's a quick drive to the strip (i recommend a renal car if you plan to visit attractions- but i think there is a shuttle that goes to certain places on the strip) and there is a Whole Foods Market quite close as well as numerous shopping centers. I would definitely stay here again and have reccommended it to friends.
