  • Cut it out with the cuteness of this place. For me it was over an hour drive, but with a two year old and a planned "adventure" outside, a nap is glorious. He napped on and I listed to a book on tap. Wins for all. My little buddy got to see sheep herding, went on a pony ride ($4 for a small circle around seemed a bit much, but how can you say no,) milked a cow, watch four day old piglets drink milk from their mother and learn about wool. There was a fun swing set/slide situation inside and a second playground outside. RENT THE WAGON if you didn't bring a stroller. There is a lot of interactive opportunities and it was fun to watch my kiddo jump in and out of the wagon in excitement to pet a sheep or check out the noisy roosters. There is a little cafe for lunch opportunities, which I found a bit pricey. But if you are willing to drive an hour from Wadsworth then consider it a "trip" and take a seat and have a bite to eat. There was more to discover, but we ended our trip short as we were accompanied by a one year old. Warning: there's not much for shade. If you pick a hot spring, summer or fall day be sure you are prepared. The sun will get you! There is also an ATM machine for the $4 pony ride. Have fun!
