| - This review is only regarding the service and beer since it's all I've experienced coming to Mindful.
My friend and I needed a place to meet on a Saturday night, so I figured I'd finally give Mindful Brewing a try. It's about 9:30pm and the place was packed! We walked in and there were two hostess standing at the podium and I asked if there was seating upstairs - the one said I don't know you can check, its seat yourself so I can't help. OK, I'm sorry? She came off as rude and as if I interrupted the two of them talking...but there was some seating l around the perimeter that we sat at while we waiting for a few parties to leave.
We finally got two seats at the bar which was perfect! The bartenders (I wish I remembered their names) were fantastic! The one guy offered my friend a sample (a 5oz) because she was open to whatever they recommended, and he didn't charge her for that which I thought was pretty cool. She got their Drop Bear and I started off with Aunt Bethany's Fruit Cake. They were delicious! Our second round, I recommended my friend try their gose, the Grain & Salt, and I got the Peanut Butter Putin. Oh my gosh was it like a dessert in a glass! I recommend trying the Peanut Butter Purim if they have it on tap!
I personally didn't think the prices were all that high. I paid $12 for two beers, but they were a little higher in ABV%) The beer we got was delicious and the service at the bar was fun! They serve their beer in the cutest glasses, too! We didn't get food at all so I can't speak for that. I do suggest checking waiting apps for restaurants, heck even the waiting time on Yelp, because they do stay pretty busy until close - at least on a Saturday night. The atmosphere was a little loud, between the music and the conversations, but it wasn't unenjoyable. I'd go back!
