This relatively new brewery is situated in the burgeoning South End district just outside the shadow of uptown. With a pedestrian and bike entrance directly against the light rail line, they are well positioned for the coming future!
This large building has been renovated with a mix of rustic wood, industrial brick and large outdoor seating area for the warmer months. The decor inside has a general Americana bent with a nice selection of rustic tables and a full copper bar. The space feels open but can get nosey when busy.
While no food is served indoors, there is a regular food truck schedule with said purveys parked right on the street outside.
So what about the beer? They have a rather large selection that covers a number of different craft beer styles- IPA, Stout, Porter, Saison, etc. They also have a small selection of wine on tap as well! Needless to say, I haven't tried them all but they make a Double IPA that gets the job done.
This is a fine place to come and sip some suds and take in the scene, especially using their large beer garden. It's great for a group of friends, large or small. I'm glad to see them join the growing craft beer scene!
