  • The fact that it's quite a hike to House of 1000 Beers for me and I've gone there a bunch of times speaks volumes to what they have. A true must-visit for serious beer aficionados. There's "good selection" and then there's the selection at 1000 - beyond-debate the rarest and widest range of offerings I've seen in Western PA. 1000 also features 40 draft lines in a little bar area adjacent to the bottle shop. Though I've never stuck around it looked like a group of regulars having a good time and enjoying great craft beer. If this was in Pittsburgh I wouldn't go anywhere else. The only problem with 1000 is that I can't stop myself from blowing a fortune here.
