The reviews are accurate. Food is undercooked and overprices. Calamari was undercooked and over salted. Salads did not have sufficient dressing (Caesar) and the wedge is weird with the cranberries and potato strips. Blue cheese dressing was watered down.
Note- this place has a history of undercooking their food. It is true. If you want medium, order medium well. Potatoes were undercooked.
I read a review where the manager defended the quality of their steaks. I am a butcher's niece, they might THINK they are purchasing "prime" but it is not. I could not chew my prime rib. No we did not complain, nor ask for another steak...it was our anniversary..just what I want to do is prolong a bad meal. We paid, left and got dessert at Lotus.
If you want a nice dinner with good food, go on to Charlotte or maybe one of the hidden gems in Gastonia. Steaks at Logan's are of better quality. This is more of a "see and be seen" restaurant in Belmont. It is still in business because there is nothing else for these people to go to that has the upscale décor. Sammy's and String Bean have excellent food, but they don't have the atmosphere these people are looking for.
