  • I lived at Garden Courts for five years while I was in graduate school. I could not have been happier during the time I was living here. Stan and Penny are absolutely wonderful landlords and truly good people, and the maintenance guy, Rich, lives on site and is always very prompt to respond to any problems. The apartments are good especially for the price and the property is very quaint with the beautiful waterscapes and greenery. The community is gated and I have always felt safe on the property, even as a female living alone. It is conveniently located near major shopping and restaurants on North Prospect Avenue and the interstate (I-74) is very close without being noisy. I will be lucky to find another place that feels this much like home run by such caring, selfless people. If I could move them with me to Chicago, I would!
