This was my very first experience of downtown Las Vegas, after years of always staying on the Strip. The ambiance and people were very down to earth which was very nice!
Hotel is what one can expect for a 3-Star hotel. Keep in mind it is not a resort, so if you come here with that in mind, go to the main Strip. This is the old Vegas catering to gambling folks who stay up all night and just need a room to catch some quick z's before starting the gambling all over the next day/evening.
The casino portion is dated, but again, to be expected. The hotel room we got was nice and spacious as well as the bathroom.
The bad was the sewage odor that emanated from the sinks and tub, so we had to make sure to shut them after using.
Nevertheless, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, again, as expected for a 3-Star hotel.
