| - This is a great ~looking~ laundromat, however the dryers do not get hot enough to kill certain bed-loving pests. Once, after doing my laundry here I noticed one of these particular pests scurry across my folded clothing as I loaded everything into my car and I'm very positive it was a bed bug. I did continue to do my laundry here, thinking it could have come from anywhere, but noticed each time that when I pulled clothing out of the dryer (I tested this after about 30, 40, and 60 minutes) nothing really seemed hot and I did select the highest temperature setting available. I'd used different dryers on different occasions. Overall this facility is very clean, but in my opinion it carries the risk of becoming a playground for bedbugs. I googled the model of dryers in use and they are supposed to reach around 160 degrees Fahrenheit, I spoke with someone over the phone at this laundromat and they claimed the same thing. But when I pull my clothing out after an hour and some of it is still damp and the zippers and buttons on my pants are actually cool to the touch, the dryers need servicing. I did read that some have a mechanical issue after a while causing dramatic heat loss, and am also aware that when lint filters are not frequently cleaned a dryer won't function properly. Either way, I haven't been back in a while and likely will never go here again. It is clean and pretty, though! Lol
