  • I do love their desserts and go often to pick up cakes or baked goods. Their food is overpriced for what they are, but good. So I have been a regular at Pekara. The reason I am not giving it five stars is their customer service has taken a nosedive over the years and the people who attended me this morning were downright rude. Very condescending replies to a normal question. I am not sure what is going on with the management because it was not like this two years ago. I think I will avoid Pekara until they improve their tone. I walked out of there today and parked myself at their neighboring cafe, where I felt quite welcome.
