This is my third experience at Fry's Electronics, and I have given up on them. The employees have NO knowledge of ANY of the products....like NONE. Extremely unhelpful, and not very bright. Perhaps they aren't trained properly, or "thrown to the wolves" on their first day. I'm not sure. But nearly useless. They don't stock advertised specials or products, it must be some kind of gimmick of theirs. I went to purchase a camera that was "on sale". It was "out of stock" the first day of the sale (I'm not getting the impression there was a line around the door for this camera when they opened that day), and then the "sales rep" tried to push the "demo model" on me, (slightly beat up) and wasn't "authorized" to offer a discount for a used floor model. I'm sorry, what???? Then he suggested I go online to buy the product and have it shipped from their warehouse. But the SALE wasn't being honored ONLINE. If you order it ONLINE, you must pay their full retail price for it. Do I look like I was born yesterday? These guys are running an electronics circus show. All those employees under one roof and not ONE could help me find an affordable camera IN STOCK? Wow.
