| - We recently had the interior of our home painted by Arizona Painting Company. The first part of the process was easy to set up and quotes were easy to get. Scheduling went well and they were even accommodating when we had to reschedule last minute due to an emergency.
We were originally scheduled for 3 days of painting. After day one, only about half was finished, which we expected. On day 2, my husband called to check the progress. We were told they would be finished that day, which was concerning because they only had a couple hours left and hadn't even started painting the kitchen. They finished painting and then "cleaned up" and left. To their credit, they did spend some time scrubbing the floors after. They said they were done and not returning the next day. They did say "if we wanted we could call and they would be happy to come back and do touch-ups".
What I am most disappointed with is the extreme amount of paint on my floors that necessitated scrubbing the floors in the first place! Even after they left, my husband and I, plus another adult, spent another 2 hours crawling on the floor scraping up paint off the tile. I can only imagine how my 80 year old grandmother would look scrubbing the paint off her floors! The most surprising fact is how much paint was on the floors despite plastic covering the floors. How does that even happen??!!
Since we were originally scheduled for three days, I feel that they should have A) gone ahead and just come back the next day for touch-ups (we ended up just doing them ourselves so we didn't have to take off work again), B) come back to clean our floors.
Again, the entire second day was rushed and really impacted our overall satisfaction with the job. The painting job itself was decent, though there is plenty of blue paint on my white trim, which seems odd since they spent hours taping everything first. Not sure that I would consider using them again for our next job.
