  • These guys are not very customer oriented. IMO, they are an unsatisfactory representation of the Great Carroll Shelby. I emailed them when I bought my 2016 GT350 to see how much it would cost to supercharge it and they said that there was no supercharger available for the 5.2 liter voodoo flat plane crank V8 engine which is fine at this time; that's not the issue. So, I asked if they could supercharge my 2012 GT 5.0, and, they said yes; and it would cost 11k to do so. The way they put words together comes of as if they don't think someone is serious about something. And they never bother to follow up. Long story short, I decided to buy my Phase 1 Roush Supercharger from AM for just under 6K and had a guy named Brian Minor from Ford Country (I should mention that Brian is the only good thing about Ford Country) install it for 2k. So, my 2012 5.0 is supercharged for a total of 8K as oppose to Shelby American quoting me 11k. My 5.0 has over 600 HP now and it's been modified to a 2012 GT500. Then, I emailed Shelby American again to ask them the distance between each Shelby trunk lettering and they never even responded. Very unprofessional, IMO.
