As a member of the MGM Resort I knew I would not be disappointed with the service and quality of this hotel. I am an avid Vegas goer and I stay in various hotels so I can compare which ones are worth visiting again and which ones I'd steer clear from.
CHECK IN / OUT
I checked in on a Sunday afternoon in the summer and the line was fairly short. My desk clerk greeted me with a warm smile and addressed me by name several times during the check in procedure. Check out procedure was fairly simple. Like most hotels they have express check out so I was able to check out via email at the end of my trip.
ROOM QUALITY
I booked a king bed in one of their standard rooms in the smoking section of the hotel. Very clean and tidy. Spacious. Only thing I didn't like about the room and the hallway was the decor. I suppose it's supposed to have a bit of a desert theme in an oasis since it IS called The Mirage, but it didn't personally excite me.
AMENITIES
I strongly believe that this hotel has the best packaging for their shower amenities and they smell delicious!
I had a particularly bad experience as far as In-Room Dining went but when I filled out an online survey at the end of my visit, one of the representatives took it upon herself to refund us for the meals we ordered as an apology for the terrible service. If that's not good customer service then I don't know what is!
Mirage is a great hotel located in a very central part of the strip for a relatively inexpensive price. I would highly recommend guests to stay at this location and will definitely be coming back here again--especially for their Beatles Love show by Cirque du Soleil!
