  • Updating my review to 1 star. Was sheduled for a surgery. Went to hospital 2 days prior for preoperative tests. Blood test went fine, waited for EKG for over an 1 hour. Finally knocked on door with red " EKG IN PROGRESS SIGN". No answer, opened door and lights were off and room was empty. Asked blood lab staff where EKG tech was. They told me that they didn't know but would page the tech. Waited 15 minutes then asked if the EKG tech responded to page. Was told no. Then asked to talk to supervisor. RN came out from next room, she said that the tech told everyone that she was leaving. I said that we weren't informed of this and asked why there was sign on door that said "EKG in progress". RN said " that sign means nothing, its always on the door". I responded " well wouldn't it be a better idea to put a sign on the door that said "will return at a certain time"? Then I asked "What time is the technician going to return?" The RN said " don't worry about it, just come back on the day of your sugery to get your EKG". Other patients that were also waiting for an EKG were also upset by this "WE DON'T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT OUR PATIENTS!" attitude. In contrast, I can highly recommend Southern Hills Hospital and St Rose- St Martin Campus Hospital. Both of these hospitals are ridiculousy superior to this hospital and are well worth the 15 minute drive.
