  • I couldn't be more delighted with The Root Salon and with Dana Fraze! Dana is a skilled master stylist, very professional and warmly personable. It's apparent that he really loves cutting hair, knows his stuff and truly cares about his clients. He listens to what you want, offers his own suggestions and explains what he's going to do before he puts those scissors into action (no surprises that way). This guy is totally talented and makes sure you're absolutely satisfied with your hair before you walk out the door. After trying out my lovely new cut for a couple days, I did decide that I wanted a bit more hair trimmed. A good sign actually since all too often, I've requested a little cut and ended up with way too much cut from other stylists, so Dana had given me what I requested initially. The second time around for the haircut was a charm! Dana was happy to comply (at no charge) and spent the time needed to make sure the new cut worked. My hair looks terrific and I am getting lots of compliments. Thanks, Dana! Haircuts should always be this easy and enjoyable, but it takes a lot of skill from the stylist and the salon overall to make it so. And The Root Salon really delivers! Additionally, the salon is bright, comfortable and a very pleasant environment for your hair "experience". And I've got to give a special thank you to the front desk folks, too (Melody is a total sweetheart!). You can tell that the management and the entire staff are very dedicated to their clients. This exemplary customer service all comes from the heart. Thank you sincerely Dana, and everyone at The Root Salon! I am a very satisfied client and happy to give five stars.
