  • I typically stay in one of the suburbs when I visit the area but I had an event to attend at the Cleveland Museum of Art so I opted to try the Doubletree Tudor Arms and the positives definitely outweighed the negatives and I plan on staying there again. As other reviewers have mentioned, check-in was quick and easy - Jasmin at the front desk was very pleasant and gave me the signature warm chocolate chip cookie. When I got to my room, I was shocked at how beautiful and modern it was! I had a suite with a king sized bed and loved the features such as the wood floors, super comfy bed and multiple shower heads. I had breakfast on the second floor and Tonya was very friendly and attentive. Everything I ate at the breakfast buffet was delicious and fresh, and I especially loved the yogurt with fruit and house made granola. They must make the granola by the sheet because the granola is similar in size to mini cookies so I picked up the pieces and dipped them in the yogurt but fresh, yummy and tasty! What I didn't care for so much was parking - I self parked since I had to come and go regularly. The parking is right on the side of the hotel but you have to walk a ways to get to the front door of the hotel and it didn't feel as safe as other hotels where you can park just steps away from the doors. As a woman who typically travels by herself, it is something I always consider. The hotel also had a room behind the front desk that had snacks available for purchase, but they didn't have much of a selection which was a very small negative. I also heard sirens intermittently but thankfully, it didn't interrupt my sleep much. Overall, I would highly recommend my place, especially because of the staff. I mentioned the front desk person and the woman at the breakfast on the second floor, but I also ran into the parking guy, another front desk gentleman, and a few other people during breakfast and EVERYONE was extremely friendly, welcoming and attentive. I felt noticed and appreciated which so rarely happens when I travel (which is often). Thank you Doubletree!
