  • Went here for lunch after seeing it in Hot & New. Wasn't expecting too much after reading other Yelper's reviews. Ordered the Shoyu Ramen (no double toppings cause apparently it's not worth). It was alright at best. After going to Sansotei and Koi Sakana I must say that Kyouka is mediocre compared to the two. Onto the positive. Didn't have to wait and food was served pretty quickly. Pretty nice interior being able to see the chefs and all. Noodles were decent. Onto the bad :(. The broth was REALLY oily. Normally I like to drink some of the broth but not this one. Quite unappetizing honestly. The toppings were okay in taste but definitely was not okay in terms of quantity. A little bit of vegetables and 2 very thin slices of pork. Overall. It's a meh. At least it's a new place I guess.
