  • It's unfortunate because we had been there the week before on a Monday and sat at the bar, wonder service and experience but yesterday not so much... Went to Ra yesterday (Sunday night around 9pm) and there wasn't very many people in the whole place but music was blasting from the bar area. Little obnoxious (just because it's louder doesn't make it better, this isn't Tao). There was no hostess around and finally a waiter took us to the dining area. We asked for a booth and out of the entire dining area, there was one other party and of course we were seated directly behind them and next to the kitchen entrance non the less (lazy seating if you ask me, people don't like to sit next to other people... like in a movie theater). It stunk and the booth seats looked greasy and bits of food left over from the previous party (is this the only booth they use?). We asked to move to a table and we were moved to near the walkway (again, kind of lazy) and there was food all over the floor yet again. So weird because they weren't busy whatsoever. We decided to go elsewhere and on the way out saw the hostess sitting on the counter as she mumbled "goodnight" to us. Maybe she could have vacuumed the place since it was so slow and seemed to be doing nothing else but "stealing a paycheck". Also the bathroom smelt like a bathroom... not good. Ra always has good food, I just wish they out more effort into their appearance.
