I stopped in to Ezra's Pound with my boyfriend on a fine Saturday morning. The service was horribly rude and the coffee was overpriced and average at best, probably because it was served with such disdain. The only saving grace was the cheddar and herb scone I had, which was so rich and delicious that I almost forgot about how bad the rest of the experience was. After I finished wolfing down my scone, I regained my senses and wrote about the bad service on Yelp. Based on the numerous other negative reviews about the service, it sounds like this wasn't an isolated experience. Maybe Ezra should offer some more training about how to smile and converse with customers about coffee in his "Espresso Institute".
