  • Nobody should use a hard money lender unless they are desperate and I was in that boat. I worked primarily with S.S. and let me tell you she will give 100%. I had a particularly difficult loan and she made it happen in a timely manner, working late into the night. Most companies are done with you at 5 p.m. and it is too bad so sad, but not with S.. She did what she had to do to get the loan processed. My only suggestion is that you get really firm numbers on your pre-qualification. I was pre-qualified and then told I wasn't weeks later. Go through everything to get that pre-qualification letter as close to perfect as possible. Tell them up front every single reason you need a hard money lender. Don't be shy. They may work with you when you think nobody else will. It all worked out in the end but it was precarious for a bit. The biggest thank you possible to S.! It was a hard process and she kept a level head and her composure. I can tell you I am not the easiest person to work with but she found a way around that. The best!!
