Cure, you little beauty you. I took my momma for a tasting menu for her birthday, yes, she is spoiled, I know. But you know what, it was worth it. The food was delicious and the service was Pittsburgh style, friendly, honest, endearing and makes you feel right at home. The only thing I disliked was the wine pairing with the tasting menu. I felt it was clunky and didn't really enhance the food. I let the hostess know this and she quickly had me try an alternate taste of something with the dessert which knocked it out of the park.
Please go, I am so happy to see a restaurant like this in Pittsburgh. Cure is very similar to the type of restaurant I would find in the Bay Area, where I currently live.
