Mixed feelings:
5 Stars for the ice cream
3 stars for everything else
I only tried one flavor at this new ice cream shop: praline pecan. It tasted great, and a one scoop portion is generous.
The shop itself is the most poorly conceived space I've ever seen. They have a huge area behind the counter for the freezers and workers, yet the customer area is a much smaller, long rectangle. No seats whatsoever, inside or out. It's very unclear where the line to order is- tonight there were at least twenty of us waiting. They need stanchions with ropes or signage to designate the flow of the customers. It's nice that they offer a large variety of ice cream flavors, yet the ice cream names have no descriptions posted. Flavors were named things like Blue Moon and Spouse in a House, or something crazy like that. Who knows what those flavors taste like? You could ask the cashier, I'm sure, but then you're holding up the very long line.
My son heard workers talking about benches the shop may soon set up. That would solve the seating problem perfectly. I hope that the store can brainstorm other ideas to fix their issues so that they can sell a lot of their delicious ice cream.
