  • One star is too good for this company. I have never been more infuriated than with century link Internet. The customer service is Horrible! The Internet is horrible! We unfortunately have it bundled with our tv so we can't get out of our contract without a fee but I'm thinking that may be worth it. We have had to call them a dozen times in the few months we have had it. They have had three guys come out to our house to fix it and every time they bring up some new equipment swearing it's just faulty equipment. No sir, it's just a faulty company. I wasn't going to write this review but this morning I woke up with no internet, yet again! I work from home so the Internet is quite essential to my livelihood. I call them only to find out they are "fixing a line to make it better for us" and the Internet will be out for 48 hours but hopefully only 24. Excuse me? You turned off our internet services to "update" your lines? Are you kidding me? And you have the audacity to say " I am so sorry for your inconvenience but once it's back up I will happily have a text message sent to you". First off, shouldn't you inform your customers that the Internet will be shut off? Second of all, why not do this overnight when people are sleeping? And third of all, worse business tactic ever! I am beyond pissed that here I am having to go to a place that has wifi because my home office can't be used because of century links stupidity of turning off the Internet during prime business hours for those of us who work at home. I could go on and on but this has got to be the most inconsiderate thing a company could do. They have terrible business models and should really think about how they are conducting their company. I will be getting out of this contract with them as soon as I can. I will be advising quite a lot of people to stray away from this company as I work with a lot of other companies who work from home and are always asking me what Internet I use. I will also be telling my coworkers who do use century link to cancel their memberships as well because this is outrageous!
