Came in at dinner time on a weeknight. The waitress was friendly but wasn't around at all despite the fact that the place had only one other party at the time of our arrival. She left us a Sharpie and a menu with no explanation whatsoever. We just started grabbing interesting-looking plates after 5-10 minutes of sitting there looking at a basically empty sushi bar hoping for something appetizing to roll by.
There was barely any sushi going around initially, but the chef was pretty awesome and made a bunch of fresh stuff despite the fact that my boyfriend & I were the only guests at the time. He was really friendly and made suggestions and it was super appreciated especially since the waitress didn't really give a shit lol. Like, I actually was a bitch and counted the 28 fucking minutes it took her to bring us our check after she stopped by and saw we were done eating. We had drinks still but, seriously?
They have great prices on Sake-Bombers and you can fill up for under 10$ honestly. Some of their rolls are really delicious and interesting, compared to Teharu's basic selection.
