  • I took my 2001 Ford Expedition here during the summer to get my tires replaced. The crew was very kind and friendly. They told me I needed to change my cabin air filter and windshield wipers as well, so I agreed to it. Fast forward five months and the weather changes, and it begins to rain a bit. That's when I realize my drivers side windshield wiper struggles to move while my passenger side is fine. I take it into firestone, get my rear breaks replaced and oil changed, and mention that my windshield wiper has been acting funky. They were very on top of their game with the oil change and the breaks, but when I go to pick up my car I ask about the windshield wiper again and they said they would have to do a $60 diagnostic to figure out what the problem was. I said I wasn't about to pay $60 for a problem that seemingly stemmed from a replacement from you guys, so I just left kind of frustrated and defeated. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my windshield wiper, and I had to avoid driving in the rain. A few days ago, I got fed up with being restricted by my wiper, and I went back to Firestone armed with my much more assertive sister. I talked to one of the crew members there (I unfortunately can't remember his name), and he was kind, but didn't give us many answers as to what could be going on. My sister didn't want to be unheard about this issue anymore, and was stern with him, and eventually he grabbed the manager Roger. Roger was VERY understanding and friendly, and had customer service that was above and beyond what I expected. He made sure to really cross out all of the things that couldn't be the issue for my windshield wiper, like the wiper motor going out, and a fault in the actual wiper, and eventually figured out that the bolt that holds it together was loose, and probably got loosened when they replaced the wiper. It was a simple solution to a problem that caused a lot more hassle than it should have, but I don't know much about cars and I was unable figure out what the issue was. To thank Roger and apologize to the other crew member for my sister, we bought them a dozen donuts from the Smith's across the street. We couldn't be happier with Roger's spectacular customer service and the other crew member's patience!
