If Neo from the Matrix and Rob Schneider had a lovechild, it would be our waiter. He was nice enough but was definitely a wanna be aspiring model/actor. In his own head. Slightly arrogant, a little geeky yet still helpful. He was an interesting character to say the least.
Service aside, the Grand Lux is a sister restaurant to Cheesecake Factory. Similar menu items and always large portions. The co-habby and I often opt for the "small plate" version and my favorite dish is the Salmon Picatta over a bed of mashed potatoes served with a caper-filed, tangy sauce. I can't remember what the co-habby had because he was too busy laughing at our waiter while impersonating him. He's going to hell, lol. But great comedy relief...we truly thought he was acting in a starring role and we were the extras. But I digress.
The menu is vast and if you do order a regular entrée, I suggest splitting it with a friend as the portions are monstrous. Beautiful décor, plenty of options for different appetites and reasonably priced plates. Definitely one of our favorite stops when in Vegas.
